Robert Plant & The Priory Of Brion

at den Atelier Doors: 7:00 pm

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

British rock singer Robert Plant had worked with a number of bands before he hooked up with Jimmy Page’s New Yardbirds, subsequently renamed Led Zeppelin, around the time of his 20th birthday in 1968. In the following 12 years, Plant became one of the biggest rock stars on the planet. He gradually developed as a singer, branching out into other styles within the mighty Led Zeppelin’s hard rock framework. Robert Plant truly is what the rock world describes best as a ‘living legend’. But unlike certain other acts, Plant has refrained from banking on the past. Instead, he’s banking on the present with his band The Priory Of Brion, reinventing himself as a chameleon with a sharp ear for new sound.
