Marillion are to shine a new light onto their songs when they present them live in an acoustic format in the autumn of 2009. The band is pulling it off throughout Europe on the Less Is More Tour. Marillion will be selecting songs – some of which they have never performed acoustically – giving them new arrangements and a new edge. This tour is in support of a new acoustic album due for release in the autumn of 2009 which will be made up of new acoustic arrangements of songs from their vast back-catalogue of music.
