The Ozric Tentacles are a cult band of the UK underground. One of the bands to emerge from the halcyon days of the English festival scene, the Ozrics layer ambient and ethereal landscapes with freeform dub trips, incredible rave grooves and psychedelic prog rock. Their music is a signature blend of hippy aesthetics and raver electronics with spiraling guitars, textured waves of keyboard and midi samplers, and supergroovy bass and drum rhythms. On their instruments, the band conjures a whirlwind of sound furthermore accompanied by terrific light-specials and visuals with hypnotizing effect on the audience.
