This power trio’s live reputation in Belgium is nothing less than legendary. Triggerfinger stands for raw energy and heavy guitars, elegantly combined with honest, sensible and melodic songs. Or, as a Dutch music magazine once put it: “a brilliant face-lift of the genre”. A Triggerfinger show is raising your adrenaline and your heart might pound that little bit faster… You want a show to be subversive and raw. You want it to take your mind off anything and anyone. It takes a certain magic to make that happen. Think of The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Motörhead or, more recently, Queens of the Stone Age. Magic that is born out of bringing musicians together. With Ruben Block as an enigmatic frontman and versatile guitarist, Monsieur Paul on bass and Belgium’s most wanted Mario Goossens on drums, Triggerfinger became such a band where the group adds up to more than the sum of its individual parts…
