Like Mars Volta, Sparta is a spin-off of the mighty At The Drive-In from El Paso, Texas. A massively efficient live band! Porcelain and the current Threes are impressive albums indeed. The experiences of sharing the stage with such bands as Pearl Jam, Weezer, and Radiohead played a part in lending Sparta some of the confidence that makes their live shows so expansive: moods, tempos and textures shift and collide over the course of five, six and even eight-minute long compositions. Really a gig we’re looking forward to… The current single Erase It Again truly is an anthem. It’s stadium-rock live, basically… but it’s at den Atelier, of course!
