Keren Ann

at den Atelier Doors: 7:00 pm

Keren Ann Zeidel is a sound designer, singer, songwriter, composer and producer based largely in Paris, Tel-Aviv and New York. She has lived and recorded in France and New York for many years though she retains her Dutch and Israeli citizenship. Many of her songs were performed by internationally acclaimed artists, among others Henri Salvador, Jane Birkin, Francoise Hardy and Benjamin Biolay. Keren Ann’s music has been featured in various films and tv series, such as Grey’s Anatomy or Six Feet Under. So far, she’s released 6 solo albums, 101 is the latest one and it’s a gem! In the press, it’s been qualified as “extraordinary”, “mesmerizing” and as “spectacularly, apocalyptically bold produced art-pop”. And Keren Ann’s been called “A Norah Jones for Velvet Underground fans” by The Guardian. Possessed of a voice as etheral as a cloud of Gauloises smoke, her days as a ‘best-kept secret’ are coming to an end…
