Glenn Hughes is a bassist and vocalist well-known as the lead vocalist for Black Sabbath during the mid 1980s, as well as playing bass and doing vocals for Deep Purple, besides his solo work. No other rock musician has carved such a distinctive style blending the finest elements of hard rock, soul and funk. That astonishing voice is Hughes’ calling card. He’s known as a singer’s singer. Stevie Wonder once called Hughes his favourite white vocalist.
