Sisters Johanna and Klara Söderberg from Stockholm are First Aid Kit. Their 2008 YouTube video cover of the song Tiger Mountain Peasant Song by Fleet Foxes spread their name rapidly on the internet. By now, the Swedish duo has achieved worldwide fame with their harmonious singing and high-quality, clean, country-tinged songcraft, and they’ve been nominated for the Brits2015. Their unique sound quickly saw them touring and recording with the likes of Jack White and Conor Oberst. On stage, First Aid Kit are being accompanied by drummer Scott Simpson and pedal-steel guitarist Melvin “The Tiger” Duffy.
