Daemonia

at den Atelier Doors: 7:00 pm

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

After the 11th “Nuit du Film Fantastique” on 18th November, Cinénygma Luxembourg International Film Festival supported by Sources Rosport is proud to present this unique live show. Daemonia plays new progressive rock arrangements, with the addition of a great symphonic orchestra, of the most famous soundtracks taken from the films of Dario Argento composed by Goblin, Claudio Simonetti, Keith Emerson and Ennio Morricone. As quoted by the Marquee club in London: “Claudio Simonetti is the most important horror soundtrack composer of his time. With Goblin he created the magnificent howls of Dario Argento’s Suspiria, Tenebre, Profondo Rosso and Argento produced Dawn of the Dead. Simonetti’s signature infernal electronics continued with Argento’s Phenomena, Opera, Sleepless and most recently The Card Player, as well as Bava’s Demons, Fulci’s Conquest and Deodato’s Cut and Run. To experience Simonetti’s requiems of Italian horror live with his band Daemonia is a unique and long awaited opportunity which should not be missed.”
