Chris Isaak

at den Atelier Doors: 7:00 pm

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Chris Isaak begins his third decade as one of the most distinctive recording artists – and the epitome of modern cool! Although he has touched on many styles over his career, he is best known for his rich vocal style, as heard on his single Wicked Game. The rock and roll singer-songwriter, musician and actor, Chris Isaak was born in California in 1956. He was brought to attention when the track Gone Ridin’ was used by David Lynch in the film Blue Velvet. This would be the first of many Isaak/Lynch collaborations. Stanley Kubrick used the Isaak track Baby Did a Bad, Bad Thing in his film Eyes Wide Shut. Along with Isaak’s album releases he has taken on roles in the films Little Buddha, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me and Silence Of The Lambs. Mr. Lucky – Chris Isaak’s stunning new masterpiece – perfectly balances the ecstasy of great romance with the agony of pure heartbreak. Like some rocking Sinatra album for the 21st Century.
