En excellente compagnie, la friponne australienne fait danser la pop moderne sur son nouvel album Daddy I Don't Want To Get Married. Le glissement progressif du désir de Michaela Gehrmann aka Micky Green vers une pop gracile puis la moiteur soul, initié par ses deux premiers albums, s’accentue dans un nouveau disque très marqué par les eighties. Résultat d'une collaboration avec David "Tahiti Boy" Sztanke et Jean-Baptiste "Para One" de Laubier, Micky Green revient avec une "blue eyed soul" moderne et décomplexée, entre déhanchements groove et romantisme pop. La synthèse de folk-pop-electro est ici unique. La chanteuse ne l’est pas moins.
