Due to medical reasons the ENNIO MORRICONE show initially scheduled at Coque Arena this Wed, April 9th ispostponed to Tue, 15th July 2014.

The Maestro has suffered a back injury and he is indeed constrained to reschedule some dates of his tour, including our show in Luxembourg. 

Tickets bought remain of course valid for the new date.

Very sorry for any inconveniences and let’s all give a warm welcome to the Maestro in July!

Le concert de ENNIO MORRICONE initialement prévu à la Coque ce Mercredi 9 Avril est reporté au Mardi 15 Juillet 2014 pour des raisons médicales.

Le Maestro souffre d’un mal de dos et il se voit donc dans l’obligation de reporter quelques dates de sa tournée, y compris notre concert au Luxembourg.

Les billets déjà achetés restent bien sûr valables pour la nouvelle date.

Nous sommes désolés pour le désagrément occasionné et nous allons tous donner un accueil chaleureux au Maestro en Juillet !

ACADEMY AWARD WINNER ENNIO MORRICONE - THE 50 YEARS OF MUSIC TOUR

The most prolific composer in the history of film music will be performing the greatest works from his career that spans over 50 years with a full symphony orchestra and a 70 member polyphonic choir.

The five-time Oscar nominee has scored over 500 films, the best known being the classic westerns including “For A Few Dollars More” and “The Good The Bad and the Ugly” as well as other iconic movies such as: “The Untouchables”, “The Mission”, “Cinema Paradiso” and more recently Quentin Tarantino’s “Django Unchained”and before that “Kill Bill”.

Morricone is the only composer ever to win the prestigeous honorary Oscar award (2007) in recoginition of his “magnificent and multifaceted contributions to the art of film music.” He was also nominated for a further five Oscars throughout his career and has won three Grammy Awards, two Golden Globes, five BAFTAs, seven David di Donatello Awards, eight Nastro d'Argento Awards as well as the Polar Music Prize. In 2009 the President of France bestowed him with the prestigeous Légion d’honneur. 

Having performed in such prestigious venues as the Great Hall in Bejing, the General Assembly Hall of the UN in New York and the Royal Albert Hall in London, the Kremlin in Moscow and the Arena di Verona, the Italian Maestro’s concert in Luxembourg is an unmissable opportunity to experience the astounding work of this musical genius. The concerts will trace the composer’s career featuring compositions from his 50-year career composing music for film.
