Jona Vark, The Piper’s Song, Running Romeo or Time To Wander... Australia’s indie/dream pop duo, composed of Xavier Bacash and Lionel Towers, is based in London now. Their current album, Gilgamesh, is a gem and they’ve been compared to Empire of the Sun or even The Temper Trap a gazillion times since its release. Since Gypsy & The Cat have been first played on Mark Ronson’s radio show in New York, they’ve supported The Strokes and Foals and they’ve extensively toured the globe in their own right... We’ve no doubt the massive roll they’re on will continue to accelerate in 2012.
